I'm looking to build a sim in my basement and getting very overwhelmed with all of the options in the marketplace. I've gotten a recommendation or two through the grapevine, but I don't hold a lot of weight to them. Hoping there are some people in this sub that might be able to pass along some ideas.
Specifics: I've got a spot picked out which is 12'L x 15'D. Ceilings are 12 ft high so no issue there. For budget, I'm trying to keep it under $15K, but if I've got to spend a little more to do this right, I'll do what I have to do. Thinking this space will also serve dual function for watching Sunday Football on the projector when the sim isn't in use.
About me: I really just want something that works well and is easy to use. Would like a system that has a few courses to choose from, maybe some fun mini games I've seen on some of the sims I've played. I shoot in the 90s, so I definitely don't need ultra precision or all the bells and whistles. Basically looking for something my buddies and I (who are similar skill level to me) can have a good time playing around with.
If there's any other relevant info I can provide let me know.
Thanks in advance
