Course was sold out of Pro V1's and I only had a couple in the bag so I bought a sleeve of Taylor Made TP5 and loved them. I'm three rounds into a new set of irons so I have been keeping track of my distances on all shots that I feel I hit perfectly. My 5-iron has been between 194 and 198 yards with one flier that hit 207. That is a limited sample size of only 8 flushed shots and they were all with Pro V1. Today, the 5-iron only came out twice with the TP5 and the distances were 223-yards and 221 yards on a soaking wet course.

Anyone else getting significant distance gains with the TP5 with their long irons? Seemed similar to the Pro V1 further down the bag but those 5-iron numbers were staggering.
