I posted a round on Wednesday that has been updated with a PCC of -1 which surprised the hell out of me. Granted, I played like crap but the PCC of -1 is based off of actual posted scores on that course for that day, correct? This course winds up and back down a big elevation change with over 50% of the holes being subject to strong winds on otherwise calm days. This round in particular was extremely windy with the windiest half of the course being sustained 10-12 mph and gusts of over 25 mph.
If the PCC was derived from actual weather conditions, it would have been even or potentially 1. Does the -1 PCC mean that a good number of people posted scores on this course on that day that were better than their average? If so, I think it is fairly ridiculous that other people fluffing their scores could actually increase my differential.
For reference, I was playing with a 3 handicap who is very familiar with the course and he shot an 82 on this Par 72 (73.8 / 131) course.
