So Iโm a relatively new golfer, really picked up the sport in the last couple months with some lessons, range time, 9โs, and a couple full rounds. Last week I woke up the morning after a longerish range sesh and my right rib cage felt like I got hit with a baseball bat. Played 18 on Sunday thru the pain thinking it would let up and now I can barely breathe. Thinking I strained my intercostal but wondering if anyone on this sub has experienced something similar? Any tips besides ice and Tylenol? Should I keep swinging to loosen up or is this something I need to really baby my way thru? Thinking of calling up the VA and seeing if theyโd shoot me up with a steroid to help it heal but not sure if I want to open that can of worms.
