Got the 86 GL1200 Heads off for the head gasket change. I had coolant leaking into the right exhaust, and my right side has low vacuum when I was trying to carb-sync. After much frustration, I got them out, but I noticed that both sides Oil Restrictor only have the cylinder-side orings, and neither had the Cam-Side ORings. I didn't have an oil leak before the head job, and I know I've seen every post recommend changing both Orings any time you replace the head gasket. My question is, what do they really do and is that second ORing really a mission-critical Oring? I didn't have oil on the spark plugs, and minimal oil in the cylinders. White smoke out of exhaust when running, never dark. I ordered new ones from Honda, but they're gonna take 21-30 days to arrive and I'm honestly just impatient. What do ya'll recommend?
