Over the last couple of days my 8 month golden has went from voraciously attacking his food bowl to just nibbling. He’ll get all of dinner down over the course of a half hour or so and usually leaves about half his breakfast when it’s time to go to daycare after an hour or so. Same feeding time as always (0645 and 1845), same quantity as the last month or so (2.5 cups each time), same food since I got him at 8 weeks (Purina Puppy Chow). Drinks a ton of water. No bathroom changes.
Of course I am freaking out and worried. Is this just a golden being a golden? Ideas or suggestions?
