Most of my favorite bands over the years have killer guitar solos. Metallica, Pantera, Black Sabbath, Alice in Chains, Amon Amarth, Van Halen.... all have great solos.

It's strange that my favorite band has basically no solos. Hearing that Gojira had two songs thrown out that had "killer solos" is haunting me. Maybe they just wouldn't fit with the Gojira style and it's best that it didn't happen, but I'm still extremely curious and would love to hear one sometime. Maybe next album? Maybe a bonus track?
