Our cousin Dallas was 8 years old when he lost his dad to an overdose, and 20 years old when he lost his fight with the depression that came from it. He hung himself and was found by his son on 9/9. The family has been in a disarray ever since. He was a great dad but he never really got over his own dad’s suicide.

His mom is grieving the loss of her only son while also trying to put together a funeral. Worst part is since it was suicide the life insurance won’t cover it.

We really don’t know what to do at this point besides ask for help from strangers. Our family really isn’t that big.
