Hi, my name is Allison Marie Forrester, and this is a fundraiser for a friend of mine, Bill Smith Jr., who just received heartbreaking news tonight from his doctors that they will halt all future operations to remove three massive cancerous tumors from his chest and gave him 3-6 months to live. He just recently got out of having brain surgery to remove a tumor and that's all they're willing to do.
My family and I will try to make him comfortable when they release him from the hospital and intend on being his full caretakers for as long as he needs us.
We are so saddened by this terrible news, especially since we were originally told that there were plans to remove all tumors and to get him into physical therapy - the doctors will not do anything more than the head surgery, not even physical therapy, due to his insurance declining funds.
We please ask and pray that we receive some donations, big or small, so we can either help fight to get him the treatment any human being deserves, or at the very least, make his last months on this precious earth as comfortable as possible! Every cent will go towards this poor man, like many others out there, that are in similar situations on being turned away from doctors. Thank you so much!! <3

American hospitals have to provide emergency medical treatment, even if the patient can’t afford it. However, this is for situations with immediate risk death/harm. They have no requirement to perform long term treatment for a cancer patient who can’t pay for it. They will definitely try to bill the customer for the emergency visits of course.
