My 31 year old brother passed away on Wednesday in a motorcycle accident in Phoenix, AZ. He was riding just after sunset on a busy road. A car attempted to make a left hand turn from the median into the shopping center and turned right in front of my brother. It is believe that Matt died on impact, we are grateful to know that he did not suffer.

Matt was a father to a 5 year old who lives in Michigan with his mother. His son spends summers and Christmas with his Dad in Phoenix. The night of the accident Matt was getting ready to fly to Michigan to get his son and bring him back. His flight was just hours after the accident occured. His son, Jr, was so excited to come and visit. He was telling everyone at school about how he was getting on an airplane with his Daddy to come to California. Jr was told this morning about what happened and is still trying to understand that his dad isn't coming.

My mom and I want to bring Matt home to San Diego for the funeral and burial. We are starting to get an idea of the expenses and they are high. We also want to fly Jr. and his mom to San Diego for the funeral so he can say goodbye. We would appreciate any kind of help. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
