Path placing Creeps in center of scene

Hello people. Just started using Godot 3. I'm following the "Dodge the Creeps" tutorial. One bug I've come across though is that sometimes the Creeps are spawning in the center of the screen instead of around the edges. I've collected some print lines.

It's really strange though because I attached a sprite to my PathFollow2D (aka "MobSpawnLocation") and it doesn't seem to leave the path. This is quite confusing and I don't really know what is wrong. I'm triple-checking that I followed the directions correctly because I don't know all of Godot yet. Any insight is appreciated.
