Questions about healing stones

There's mixed messages about religion and witch craft. I understand the Lord does not want us to use witch craft to contact spirits. I'm wondering about the use of medicinal herbs and plants or stones to heal energy. Some call this a kitchen witch or a green witch. They don't usually cast spells but they do use natural elements to their spiritual benefit. Can I do things like burn sage to clear room energy and not forsake the Lord?
