Gnome 3.36.0 softlocks when I push the home key.

Can't leave the app launcher and no apps launch. I can type in the search bar and it will find apps but again if I click them they do the launch animation and then ... nothing. Launcher is stuck open, esc doesn't let me leave. I can still run applications through my application add-on menu. This wasn't happening a few minutes ago before I upgraded. What's going on??
