S-CAR Program Questions
Post Body

Hi everyone,

I'm currently a Master's student at CSU, and have basically been trying to develop my own program focused on conflict within their social science program. But no one there really specializes in this.

Since I found out about S-CAR, I wish I had done their online master's. I still vaguely consider transferring, but I'm so far into my program here that it seems like it would take a lot of time and money that I don't have.

That being said, I think I just need to convince myself it is definitely not an option. Would anyone who has done the online MS in S-CAR be willing to share your experiences? Is it something you could transfer into partway through another program if you have a background in conflict resolution?

And for anyone else in the S-CAR masters or doctoral programs, would you be willing to share your experience? How has it changed since COVID? What is the funding and tuition situation on the ground (a bit difficult to tell from the website), especially for someone coming from out of state? I have considered pursuing their PhD program after I finish my MA here.

Lastly, I signed up for email updates about this program from GMU but haven't heard anything. Any ideas as to why?

Thank you!
