Rant: 2nd floor Fenwick is like a damn earthquake zone

I used to live in a region that had earthquakes pretty regularly. I'm now a first-semester grad student at GMU. Sitting over by the bound journals on the second floor of Fenwick makes me feel like I'm back in the earthquake zone. Is it the construction? I haven't managed to observe it timed to people walking by, so it must be the construction. It's maddening, holy crap.
