Hey, gang.

In looking at handheld GMRS radios online, it seems many, or most, cap out at about 5 watts. with a few going up to 8 watts. I'm looking for something that is handheld that has 20 watts or more.

It seems that all I can find are the ones that you put in your vehicle with the mic attached to them. I'm looking for an actual handheld radio, not one that's connected to a car or power source. Do handheld walkie-talkies go up to 20, 40, or 50 watts?

I'm not licensed in GMRS yet, but still want to see if this is possible before I sign up.
