You are just making things up now. Poker isn't a game benefitted by phd level math, and the casino wouldn't care regardless for reasons already explained to you.

Blackjack is what the MIT students were gaming. Counting cards is not cheating, although a casino can just simply ask you to stop playing a specific game.

What the students were doing was coordinating their efforts, spreading out and when a table got hot they'd all come over and gang bang the dealer and bounce. Most of the hard math was the logistics of hitting the most efficient routes to actually make money before getting kicked out and blacklisted.

That's it. Anyone with a fourth grade education should be able to count cards.
