Tesla to lay off everyone working on Superchargers, new vehicles

Aren't you commenting in a thread about an article detailing how Tesla is currently shrinking?

I agree with you otherwise, at the end of the day Tesla is a real company providing a real product, it's valuation (however volatile) still has some grounding with reality.

For me personally, one defining characteristic of memestocks is that they virtually always trend down, and have brief surges along the way that trap naive retailer investors. Tesla is volatile but it isn't just drilling to the center of the earth like GME, BBBY and AMC.

Memestocks originally came around as stocks that were considered such poor investments by any traditional standard that it was "funny" to seriously invest in it.

Tesla, by even the most pessimistic standards, doesn't fall into that. It's just a volatile tech company in a new field.

Agreed.

I think people hate Elon Musk so much at this point they want Tesla to basically be a sham company that collapses at any minute like a crypto company.
