I'd happily pay more (or buy them in the first place lol) if it meant the designs wouldn't eventually wear off. Honestly, I was surprised by the recent post saying Glossiwear is "so expensive" - it's pretty tame compared to most branded merch. It's just a shame they're printed, especially for outerwear... maybe most people aren't as hard on sweatshirts as I am, but I really expect a degree of durability with something I'm gonna wear all the time. The last embroidered hoodie I bought was around $80, but it still looks great after 10 washes.
The way I see it, if their target audience can afford to drop $45 on a hoodie, they can probably afford to drop $60 on a slightly nicer hoodie (no comment on the credit card debt remarks). Is that unreasonable? ESPECIALLY for limited edition merch... like come on. If I'll never be able to buy it again, it better last me a while.
