i may get torn apart for this, but oh well! i think kurt's performance of "being alive" was sub-par.

i'm partially of this opinion because carmen tibideaux told him it was an overdone audition song (it is).

i also don't think that any 18-year-old (the age kurt is supposed to be at this stage) could emotionally carry this song. yes, he's gone through some relationship struggles, but it's nothing compared to bobby questioning the commitments that marriage will ask of him. i don't think it's a bad performance on colfer's part. i just don't think it made sense. thoughts?
