Need help with an eye prescription— specifically the PD

So I got a DIST 27.5 on both eyes for my prescription which is the same as my prescription a few years ago.
I’m trying to order glasses online, but I keep getting rejected saying my PD doesn’t fit most of their glasses or getting upcharged on the quarter that do allow it. Could I add the identical numbers to get 55 for a single, total distance since they’re the same? And could I move it to 56 without any issues since most glasses I want start there?
