Looking for advice on choosing glasses!
Post Body

So yesterday I had my first eye test in at least 6yrs and was advised I have mild myopia (short sightedness) -2D L & -1.75D R and astigmatism.

I’m looking for suggestions on the type of lenses I would need for glasses eg. bifocal, varifcol etc as well as wether there’s any additional upgrades I should consider like those listed below:

My typical day to day activities involve using my iPad and tablet a fair bit, I occasionally go out primarily in the summer on sunny days. Sometimes out of necessity in winter I’m out until it’s dark, and I found out a few days ago the glare from the car lights made it very difficult to see my bus or to be able to focus on the LED’s with the route number until it’s like rather close.- Tbf even though I can see the buses during the day seeing the bus route is difficult even in cloudy conditions.

Another activity whilst I don’t actively do, I would want to start playing games on my console again - I noticed a few days ago how the game was nearly unplayable as I couldn’t see 90% of the on screen text from 4ft away, yikes.

If any more info is needed feel free to ask!
