Awrite r/Glasgow
I've recently met a few people from Reddit and it's gone well so thought I'd give this a shot. No idea how this will go but giving it a punt.
I love going to gigs and Glasgow's music scene is one of the best in the UK, I believe. Been going with my pals for years but I'm looking to go more regularly and meeting new people to go with would be cool.
So, would anyone be up for a wee group chat for gigs in Glasgow and surrounding areas? Thinking cheaper ones like nights at King Tut's, Broadcast etc., maybe some bigger ones if there's an artist we fancy. Possibly a few trips to other places if we get on well.
A little about me: I'm 23, into rock and metal generally but open to discovering some new stuff too so a range of tastes are encouraged. Favourite venue is probably the O2 because I have so many good memories there. Favourite band I've seen live is the Foo Fighters back in 2015 and my dream gig is probably Biffy Clyro. Would love to see more of Glasgow's music scene - try new places, see new bands and all that.
If you're interested, drop me a wee comment or a DM and I can set up a Whatsapp group if there's enough interest.
Hope to hear from you soon!
Class, waiting for a few more people to get in touch then I’ll put a wee group together.
Afraid not mate, met up a few times but the chat isn't active at all. You're welcome to try and start it back up!
Absolutely, you have great music taste! DM me your number and I’ll add you to the group

Cheers for sharing, I'll join this. Would be good to maybe have a smaller group also (I'm thinking like 4-6 people) so I'll keep the post up.
