Do rematch Santas receive experience, once the giftee makes a gallery post?

I couldn't find the answer on reddit or Givin' Gifts FAQ section.
Unfortunately, the original Santa for 3 out of 3 of my gift exchanges did not send me a gift, so I had to join the rematch pool, and my rematch Santa's save the day. With that said, do rematch Santa's receive experience for leveling up?
Side note I also signed up to be a rematch Santa for a couple other exchanges but my experience level did not increase.
