I took the chance and signed up for my first exchange, knowing that so many people don't receive a gift - and it happened to me. My gifter never sent anything. And I have to wait 5 days to report no gift. Not sure if that's to give the gifter extra time to care, or just to make the person who was shafted feel worse. If a gift hasn't been shipped, the person should be able to report no gift right after the deadline is reached. There's a shipping deadline for a reason.

When you're shafted, you're shafted. There's nothing that is going to change in 5 days.

It would also be nice if people who don't post a gallery thank you post were kicked out of Givin Gifts like they're supposed to be. I was a rematcher, spent my hard-earned money on a gift for someone, and have been waiting over 3 weeks since the gift had arrived for them to post a thank you. They haven't, and they still have a profile.

It doesn't seem like there's a lot of "protection" to keep these things from happening.
