While this is much more common in the Linux community, it's really hard to learn and find Github tutorials that don't involve the command prompt, and I hate it.
Why is Github so infested with this type of culture? Why doesn't the Github Desktop client let me easily add submodules and I have to watch 10 minute video where as some apps like SourceTree just let me right click and press "Add Submodule" and it takes me less than 10 seconds. I've heard that the Github Desktop is more for "casual users" who aren't doing anything complex so I don't know if this is the best example, but hopefully you get my point.
