Delete pushed commit to remote repo but keep local changes
Post Body

I have a pushed 3 bad commits on branch (it's not main repo branch). It contains confidential information, so I want to delete these 3 commits from github history. However, after pushing I've already made some local changes (at same branch).
I want to keep all my changes locally, but delete the 3 wrongly pushed commits...can anyone please advise? I've tried searching stack overflow for some guidance but most answer don't address keeping my local changes. I really don't want to make the mistake of deleting my local changes while trying to revert or reset my remote repo
