I graduated with my degree in GIS back in August and still haven’t landed a job. Is this normal?

So I’m not going to make this post super long. As much as I hated school and driving an hour and back for a degree that I’m not unemployed almost half a year into I am glad I am getting to enjoy the holidays for once with my family. I have a god support network so I won’t complain.

But holy shit are recruiters fake. They’ll call you can get so so excited and then ghost you. I even had people so far to show me around an office and make it feel like I had gotten the job just for them to ghost me.

I am in the Detroit area if that makes any difference.
