Hi all,
I have a map in ArcPro with a point feature class that was generated using the "Display XY Data" function from a "Standalone Table" in the TOC that is imported from an excel table that is constantly growing (new data entry weekly). I can use the "Refresh Excel" tool to refresh the table, and the new data (w/ lat and lon) appears. But, I'm not sure how to update the associated feature class except to remove and re-run the "Display XY Data" function (which takes quite some time).
Is there a way to "refresh" the feature class so that it updates to show the newly added data?
Thanks to Drewddit for suggesting an XY Event Layer. This did exactly what I was needing to achieve.
