GIS Side Hussle Projects

I work as a planner and do all the GIS in my department using our agency license. I am thinking about purchasing a personal license to start doing a side hustle GIS projects such as helping people create event maps, property maps, or other basic renderings besides just hand drawn. Anyone have experience doing this and if so, what type of work did you do?
