Should I add a Computer Science minor to my Geospatial Information Science major?
Post Body

I will be graduating sometime in 2022 with an undergraduate degree in GIS. I also started a GIS internship at a water utilities company close to my university. I feel like even though these are both really good things to help me in my gis career I know that GIS alone is really a tool and have heard that learning programming is a helpful tool. I am not well equipped when it comes to things of computer science but wouldn’t mind taking several classes that can help men later on as well as fill the rest of my credits up for my degree.

I am not looking to become an engineer or anything major but would adding this minor to my degree really help me in the long run or am I going to be scrambling for Technician and Analyst jobs the rest of my life?
