Hello, my name is Tiffany, I'm 23 years old, a sophomore college student, autistic, and I used to be a girl scout from Kindergarten to 5th grade. I loved being in girl scouts when I was a kid, and I love what their mission is for empowering girls. I'm thinking about volunteering with a troop while I'm in college.
My question is, what is it like to volunteer with a troop? Is it a very time-consuming role? I want to know so that I don't accidentally overload myself.
After college, I want to do more with them, which includes starting a troop for special needs kids, but that's far into the future.
