Why does Marnie never really get back on her path???
Post Body

So Marnie is the girl who ā€œdid everything rightā€ and things still fall apart for her, which on my 3rd rewatch at nearly 30 feels especially real/sad this time around.

But I also kinda donā€™t get it? Iā€™m at the end of season 3. It seems like she gets fired/laid off from her gallery job and then she just kindaā€¦.gives up? Not only on the art world but her project of becoming her version of success/adultā€¦.Like the next job we see her in is the hostessing jobā€¦.. We donā€™t ever see her try to get back in the art world or any other job she would see as ā€œrespectableā€
