So I’ve liked this girl for a few months now, we have had 2 classes together, one last semester and one this semester. She was being continuously flirty by putting her legs in my lap, making very uncomfortable (sexual) jokes.

When this was happening I just turned (17). She (14). In my state there is Romeo and Juliet laws where this is legal. 2.3 year difference. But during her doing this, she had a boyfriend. Before the semester ended I gave her a parting gift of a cup and some candy because it was December/ Christmas time. We talk over the break and she never talks about her bf. During the break we are constantly snapping and talking about missing one another. She one day talks about us hanging out but states that she couldn’t because of her dad is strict, not the fact that she has a boyfriend. This semester started this January. I walked In and to my surprise she’s sitting there eyeing me to come sit with her. So far this semester she hasn’t been very flirty but still her normal self.

I just want another persons view on the whole situation.
