Ginger bug is lackluster
Post Body

Guys so I was brewing last summer and never had an issue. My bug died in the fridge over the winter and I’ve started a new one about six days ago but I can’t get it to really get going. It’s alive, but just barely. I’ve been feeding it sugar and grated ginger and I tasted it today and it’s definitely not eating all the sugar, the bug is sweet. I’ve considered cheating and dropping a bit of bread yeast in but I don’t really want to, I like making it from scratch. Any advice? I also moved it to a warmer room for a day but still, it’s barely bubbling
