Error: "Your video card does not support D3D 11.1"

Im not sure why im getting this error message everytime i try to open the game. I have an RX 470 and im 99% sure it supports it. I have my GPU drivers updated, and have the necessary Windows 7 updates. Of course i also have Direct X 11 updated.
Not sure what to do, i've been wanting to play this game since it was announced but never got in the closed beta, now that it's out i get this pesky error message that doesn't make sense. Not sure if these kinds of posts are allowed so if not please delete it
