Improving last BIOS time
Post Body

Hi all,

A few months ago I upgraded from an i5 7500 / Asus ASUS H110M-K, to an AMD 3600 running on a B550 AORUS ELITE with F1 BIOS. Also switched from a GTX 1060 to 5600xt.

Since then, I've gone from around 6 second boot time to 12.5, and I'm wondering if there are any bios level settings I can change to improve this.

It's not critical, just more of an interest. Originally I was using the sleep function but ended up with a black screen issue that took a long time to fix, and I really don't want to experience that again, so am just shutting down normally now.

System has 16gb ram at 2400 with xmp enabled - yes, I'll be replacing this soon with a 3200 kit.

Thanks for your thoughts :)
