I have a Aorus 5 Kb laptop with Intel i7-10750H and rtx 2060. Have few questions if someone can help me out please.
Hi guys, I'm confused and need some help. For example, my battery is showing 70% and I want to play a game or do some video editing and my laptop needs performance, i change the power slider to performance but nothing happens so the only solution is to plug in the power adapter, when I do everything runs great BUT at the same time the battery is also charging, the laptop isn't running just from the power adapter source. Is this damaging to the battery? What do I do if the battery reaches 100% and the laptop is still running on the power supply afterwards? Should I take the battery out when I need to use it on power supply so I wouldn't damage the battery or is there software (I had software on my previous Asus TUF laptop that prevented the battery for example to charge beyond 60% so it wouldn't get damaged by overcharging if the laptop is frequently for a while connected to the power supply.) for gigabyte/aorus laptops also that do that?
Thanks all in advance for your suggestions.

I changed the profile in Windows to performance and nothing happens, probably needs the brick to deliver the performance part. But what am I to do with the battery? Can I plug in the power supply whenever I need performance regarding the battery level? Is it ok or not? I can't believe the info that laptop manufacturers provide, it's so minimal and useless, tomorrow when something happens it's "hey sorry, yeah, it's your fault, you should have this like that etc" like we've been told or it's written somewhere, but it isn't.
