Issues with the top pcie 4 slot (aorus elite x570)

Hey guys,

I have a frustrating issue that i cant seem to fix. The top pcie slot doesn't quite work. If i uae this slot the system will be unstable, laggy, audio is distorted over displayport (monitor speakers), and it bluescreened once. Loss of signal is also common.

Lower slot works fine but is limited to x4 bandwidth, essentially crippling my rx 5700 xt.

The cpu does not appear damaged, and i already updated to bios F11.

Specs: ryzen 7 3700X

Gigabyte aorus elite x570

32gb ddr4 3600MHz (2×16)

Gigabyte RX 5700XT
