Do rebates void warranty?

I have a warranty window that’s closing on a 15P XD for $200.
Wondering if there are any downfalls with cutting the label off the box to ship to them and if there are any precautions I should take to avoid any issues further down the line if I have an issue that involves needing a warranty repair..
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
