Trying to fix something

Hey guys,
I have a GA-AB350M-DS3H mobo with a M.2 drive that supports SATA and NVMe, but the caveat is that SATA will only work paired with an Athlon chipset. I'm currently with Ryzen, so only a NVMe drive would work.
So here's my stupid question, is there a software/driver/update that bypass this ? I don't want to use my last PCie slot for a converter
