Aurora gaming 5 z370 can't get past post after disabling csm
Post Body

Aorus gaming*

I'm trying to disable csm so I can enable rebar. Weird thing is if I reset the bios by taking out the cmos battery and disable csm and enable rebar it boots up fine but only directly after resetting bios and setting everything up. Everything is working fine as well when it gets to the OS.

The next boot up it just hangs at the post screen. Can't get back into bios either. I've let it hang there for 30 minutes hoping it would get past but nothing happens

My OS drive is gpt and I even did a fresh install of windows 11 while making sure csm was disabled before the install. Is the motherboard just bad? Everything works fine if I enable csm but I would like to use rebar.

UPDATE: So for whatever reason my computer decided on its own to rollback the motherboard firmware to the original firmware it first came with. So with that done I decided to try out CSM disabled and lo and behold everything works. After a reboot, it continued to work with CSM disabled. Unfortunately the old firmware doesn't have ReBar. I don't know what it is about the latest firmware that changed. I had the settings all default on the old firmware and new firmware aside from CSM disabled and Intel's PTT enabled. Guess it's time for an upgrade :x
