The hardest part of getting a new dog (or adopting like I did) is the realization that some day you'll have to say goodbye. Might be tomorrow and it might be years. Just have to cherish the moments you have and hope for the best
He developed an auto-immune disorder that attacked his own blood platelets. He started bruising and bleeding around his gums. We tried rounds of immuno-suppressants but he just didn't respond to the medication. It's a somewhat rare condition and even more rare that he didn't respond to the medication.
He was a chiweenie! He was 3 when i adopted him, 6 when he passed.
Thanks. Its been hard, but there's a lot of support around
