Even if they were just normal people and not part of a musical, what's the problem? They're in costume at a convention known for costumes, and even holds a costume contest. People are way too insecure about this stuff.

Furries are fine, I really don't get why people get so angry at them. They like to dress up as animals, and they go to conventions to meet other people who also dress up as animals. If they're not hurting anyone whilst doing it, what's to get mad about?

Yes, it's weird for people who aren't into it. But there's always so much hate generated at furries and I never quite got why.
