I know it’s an Epiphone, but the story is really cool. This guitar is a 2008 Epiphone Les Paul Standard and belonged to a musician near Nashville, TN. In 2016, their band opened for Buckcherry and the guitarist got the guys to autograph it backstage. As a broke musician, the guy needed some money and gave it it to his brother as collateral for a loan. He never paid his brother back, so his brother decided to sell it after waiting for 5 years. Either way, the guitar was definitely set up professionally…. The string tension is amazing, Grover tuners was added, the string height is perfect for fast runs. It plays great and has really good sustain. I’ll definitely be pulling it apart to see if the pickups are original or not.
How much was the right one?
