Is everyone else's GiantBomb Video Buddy working fine?

I've used GBVB for awhile to watch GB videos on my TV via Chromecast (2nd gen). Nearly a month ago out of nowhere it started crashing every time I hit cast. (everything else casts fine). Tried reinstalling and all that jazz but ultimately gave up. Just got my new phone in today and installed the app again. Still crashes. Factory reset Chromecast as well, still crashes.

Anyone else had this issue? is there another app I can use?
