I just finished the game yesterday!
I don't tend to have much time for games at this particular stage of my life. Which sucks; I'm not very good at games in general, so I need a lot more time than most people to learn how to play them well. I don't end up playing very many games at all, because learning how they work is too much of a time commitment for me. Many years ago now, I beat the original Dark Souls twice. I look back at that time, and it literally causes me the same anxiety that looking back on the year of my life where I struggled with a narcotic substance lmao.
GoT took a little bit more time that I could really spare, but the learning curve was just right. The way new enemy types and challenges were introduced was so perfect for me. It gave me the opportunity to learn as I played without a ton of dying and overall frustration. The game is also very forgiving with timing and hit boxes, but in a way that you still do need to learn to parry, and there will be challenging fights.
I'm really looking forward to going back to the areas that I struggled with, or became overwhelmed by, with my endgame Jin. I'm not even going to increase the difficulty, I'm just going to tear apart every Mongol I see.
