Context: was one date but the date went rly good. She laughed I laughed we stayed until closing. Did everything right. She even said she was free this upcoming weekend (I was going home the next day so I couldn’t) and I responded saying maybe the next weekend. Went home said I hope she made it home safely and said I had fun she responded and I asked for her number bc i thought it went good. She gave me her number and she responded and was engaging in the conversation rest of night. Then I get up tell her I’m heading home and I’ll message her whenever I could! (Text#1) No response (she had work so I figured that’s why but) I texted her(text #2) when I got home and let her know I made it home and asked if her day was good. Keep in mind she’s very active on Instagram with lifting weights and gym stuff. She responded to some questions on insta. In between text #1 and 2. She did respond and was saying hahah and stuff. That was Wednesday. Fast forward I haven’t messaged sense and she’s been posting on insta. Ik it was one date but it rly shot my self esteem bc the date went good. She suggested a second date and gave me her number. I want closure and I feel like ghosting is so shitty especially when I paid for her food on the date without hestitation. I have contemplated calling but idk. Maybe she’s just had at responding and I get lost within all the other 20 thirsty guys in her dms. Thoughts?
