Can we just stop giving the reboot so much attention?

I think it looks undeniably bad, but can we just...let bygones be bygones? I'm tired, and i'm weary. All this forum is is just a big circlejerk of hate, yes it looks shitty, we all agree. Yes, the name-calling on both sides is stupid. But is that literally all that we can discuss? Like, day in and day out? I'd hope not.
