Hello People of this subreddit! I am a college student who will be traveling to Ghana as a part of a class with guided course work in April. I will be mainly staying in Accra and Cape Coast according to the rough itinerary I was giving. Don't know exact location on Cape Coast. I will be there for approximately 10 days. I am an Indian-American student and will be traveling with a group of 7 other people. I am very adventurous person and open minded. Love to try new things
I am reaching out to this subreddit for recommendations for: - must-try foods/restaurants and beverages(no diet restrictions, eat meat as well) - clothes to blend in with locals - greeting ppl and general etiquette - where I could find a potential stargazing map? And any other advice you might have for an American College Student?
I am very excited to finally visit Ghana and learn more about the culture and find commonalities of colonial impact between Ghana and India.
Thank you in advance for all your assistance.
